Details: |
The continued growth of British Cycling's Recreation Education programme, a programme dedicated to the development of cutting edge and innovative recreational qualifications such as cycling leadership qualifications, has resulted in the need for new Recreation Education Tutors. Therefore, Recreation Education is looking to recruit experienced professionals to join the dedicated team.
We are keen to hear from candidates with strong knowledge and experience of instructing, teaching and leading groups.
Candidates should be willing to commit to delivering at least four Recreation Education courses (i.e. 8 days of delivery) and attend one continuing professional development event per year.
Successful applicants are required to complete a comprehensive three-day Coach Educator workshop and a two-day Coach Assessor workshop, which will train them in accordance with the requirements of the UK Coaching Certificate.
Candidates will also attend a course-specific orientation for each course to be delivered. Following this initial training, further support will be provided by the Recreation Education team to meet tutors' individual needs.
