New Rescue and Emergency Care courses (REC) announced for 2010
8 & 9 May 2010 , 4 & 5 SEPTEMBER 2010, 4 & 5 DECEMBER 2010
The course is aimed at outdoor activity club volunteers or members needing to successfully complete a REC course prior to attending any NGB assessments. If you are interested in attending then read on.
 
Clwb Antur Dwyfor Developments
Clwb Antur Dwyfor have over the last few months successfully applied for funding from a number of sources to purchase Kayaks and other equipment and to run further paddling sessions for adults and young people at Dwyfor Leisure Centre in Pwllheli. So, if you live in the Pwllheli area and you fancy joining this growing club or whether you are merely looking for inspiration, this might be of interest!
 
Mountain Leader (ML) training course through the medium of Welsh
MARCH - APRIL 2010 (modular over weekends)
Provider: Conway Centre, Anglesey
Following on from our recent successful ML Modular programme, the Outdoor Partnership is planning to run another modular course in the New Year. The training course is based around the ML syllabus but rather than having to attend 5 consecutive days, participants will undertake the modular course over a period a 4 weekends; approximately one weekend per month over 3 to 4 months allowing participants to consolidate their training.

Snowdon 500 Challenge (Charity Event)
22 , 23 MAY 2010
Venue: Y Wyddfa / Snowdon
The next Snowdon 500 Challenge takes place in May 2010. Due to the popularity of this unique charity challenge and the demand for places, Snowdon 500 - 2010 will be held on two days over the weekend of Saturday 22nd May 2010 and Sunday 23rd May 2010. You can choose either day to trek to the summit of Mt Snowdon. Demand for places is sure to be high so register now to secure your place.
