How did you get involved in the sport?

Attended taster sessions with my family at Cybi Kayakers. I started kayaking when I was about 10 years old.

Top tips for future stars:

Have fun and work hard!! Try to get out paddling as much as possible and make sure you go out with a good group of people. Try to get to know other kayakers and paddle with people that have more experience than you and you will learn a lot from them. Listen to your coaches and always try to push yourself.

Other activities:

Surfing, climbing and skiing.

Continue to progress within kayaking and gain qualifications to become a kayak leader/instructor. When I get a bit older I hope to kayak in many places around the world and just keep enjoying myself.

Any thanks:

Thank you to my mum and dad for driving me everywhere to get to all of the rivers and to Cybi Kayakers for getting me into kayaking. I would also like to thank my mentor and friend Fraser Marr for taking me down all these big rivers and helping me gain kayaking qualifications.
